Western markets need to be further engaged with each other. There's no reason for Asian markets to be in such positions of leverage. Especially countries like China and Russia.
Reduction in the job market and standards for quality of life being lowered are the historical facts of such trade arrangements. People in the west need to wake up and realize that.

"Instead, U.S. dollars were paid to the North Korean government, which siphoned off most of the money and paid only what it wanted to the employees in North Korean currency and store vouchers, according to a statement from Seoul's' Unification Ministry on Sunday."

I probably shouldn't have laughed, but I did.

I guess if North Korea did collapse then they could become one country similar what happen to Germany after 1989.

I think a lot is up in the air right now. If the norks decide attacking the south is better than collapse(never underestimate the power of stupidity) things could get very interesting with Putin's rematch complex and China's want for power. Having all of Korea aligned with the United States would push China harder and further than ever before. It would also be a smack to Russia.

I'm surprise that North Korea is able to last this long. They never die out like the other communist countries did after 1991.

I'm surprised they didn't give Russia and China the finger when the famine hit.

When you look at how events have translated into what percentage of a country's GDP is debt, things look even more interesting. South Korea is like %36/GDP and Mexico is like %30/GDP while Japan is like %200/GDP. The United States is about %100/GDP. Those countries that have enjoyed a nice ride are now upset about their ride coming to an end. Despite the history and thus relations between the United States and them.

I haven't been around in a while and this is old news, but I want to say out loud that I really think it sucks that Rand Paul dropped out of the Presidential race. He was the only guy with his head screwed on straight. If I was American, I'd have voted for him. With him gone though, I'd side with Sanders just because all the other options are terrible.

Rand Paul is the worst man alive. I'd rather vote for love child of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.  :'(

I love both Paul and Sanders, which is hilarious because they're almost the exact opposite on the federal level.

Donald Trump is a saint compared to Ted Cruz, by the way. Its a blessing he isn't making it.
