I think it's sad that I never experienced the days when rock bands published concept albums, intended to be listened to from beginning to end, the individual tracks weaving into each other. Most music today is produced for the 'iPod mentality' of music listening habits.

Also, totally embarrassed to say I know absolutely nothing about Pink Floyd.

a few post punk bands in the mid 2000's tried on concept albums and ended up with the subgenre prog-punk label, some of its ok most of it is shit.
