Creationist Ken Ham Says Aliens Will Go To Hell So Let's Stop Looking For Them
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/07/22/ken-ham-aliens-go-to-hell_n_5608368.html

QuoteCreationist Ken Ham, who recently debated Bill Nye the Science Guy over the origins of the universe, is calling for an end to the search for extraterrestrial life because aliens probably don't exist -- and if they do, they're going to Hell anyway.

"You see, the Bible makes it clear that Adam's sin affected the whole universe," Ham wrote on his blog on Sunday. "This means that any aliens would also be affected by Adam's sin, but because they are not Adam's descendants, they can't have salvation."

The post was driven in part by NASA experts saying that they expect to find evidence of alien life within the next 20 years.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/posteverything/wp/2014/07/23/we-are-israeli-reservists-we-refuse-to-serve/

QuoteWe are more than 50 Israelis who were once soldiers and now declare our refusal to be part of the reserves. We oppose the Israeli Army and the conscription law. Partly, that's because we revile the current military operation. But most of the signers below are women and would not have fought in combat. For us, the army is flawed for reasons far broader than "Operation Protective Edge," or even the occupation. We rue the militarization of Israel and the army's discriminatory policies. One example is the way women are often relegated to low-ranking secretarial positions. Another is the screening system that discriminates against Mizrachi (Jews whose families originate in Arab countries) by keeping them from being fairly represented inside the army's most prestigious units. In Israeli society, one's unit and position determines much of one's professional path in the civilian afterlife.

For a country partly born of a desire to escape racism around the world... .it sure is a "bit racist" itself. lulz.

Don't know about the army but the IAF has no restrictions on women. They have frontline female fighter pilots and at least one female deputy squadron commander.

Babies Hospitalized After Lesions Found on Private Parts

http://forward.com/articles/202584/-new-york-infants-get-herpes-from-controversial-c/

QuoteTwo more infants in New York City have tested positive for herpes following a controversial circumcision rite.

Both babies are believed to have contracted the disease following metzitzah b'peh, a ritual in which the circumciser places his lips on the infant's penis to suction blood from the circumcision wound.
