Quote"A British company has produced a "strange, alien" material so black that it absorbs all but 0.035 per cent of visual light, setting a new world record. To stare at the "super black" coating made of carbon nanotubes – each 10,000 times thinner than a human hair – is an odd experience. It is so dark that the human eye cannot understand what it is seeing. Shapes and contours are lost, leaving nothing but an apparent abyss."

Btw, this material would be really good for a night time Navy Seal's "sneaking suit". :P

Welp, that's it, the World Cup is over. It's been the best tournament I can remember. Ridiculously dramatic, so many stories, so many brilliant players making a name for themselves - and others falling far short of their hype. Lionel Messi seems to be the new Wayne Rooney - all club and no country.

I don't like Germany or Argentina so didn't go into the final with much hope, but both of them played much better than most of their previous games (main exception obviously being Germany's last match) and ended fairly perfectly with a magnificent goal from a footballer barely out of his nappies, and Messi summing up his tournament by punting a last-minute free kick miles over the goal.

Haha yeah. Who needs continuous play when you can watch big Americans play for 10 seconds then wait around slapping each others asses for 60 and repeat.
