And no doomsday prophecies to accompany them. Oh the irony.

They are recording their youtube rants as we type.

Fan-f**king-tastic video.

As for the one coming tomorrow, it's getting real close (as in, within the radius of geosynchronous orbit), but do not fret, there's no chance of it hitting.

I'm more worried about potential trailing debris that could pepper the planet in the coming days. Makes me wonder about this little 'opening act' and if it's related in some way or a complete coincidence.

Russia is a huge target for any asteroid or meteor/alien spaceship due to its size. Why can't the earth space agency or NASA detect objects like this and give a heads up?

Well, for one, space is really really big.

For another, asteroids are really really small.

For one more, not enough money.

I was going to mention something about Eor from Winnie the Pooh flying around causing destruction in Russia, but that seemed too politically incorrect.

So we currently have no way of knowing when or where a celestial object will strike? Shouldn't it be like predicting the weather? Maybe those big satellite dish things could focus on those instead of non existent alien
radio signals.
