I loved Killer Instinct. I played KI Gold back in the 90's on the N64 and it kicked ass.

It's a question for those that liked the game and have memories of it, not a versus thread.

I think a third game will likely never happen. Rare has not been the same after the N64 days, they went down hill after MS bought them. Both Tim and Chris Stamper left Rare a few years ago, so it's likely going to suck.

With the news we got back in September, I wouldn't be surprised if KI and KI 2 get ported to 360 and PS3 sometime soon.

Rare is own by MS. So a PS3 version will never happen.

Rare now these days just make Kinect games. Since MS just renew the rights to the series then they might plan to re-release both games on XBLA. A third game could end up being made by someone else other then Rare.
