Just out of interest, is it at all plausible that the events of John Carpenter's The Thing could have occured within the combined Alien and Predator mythos? In other words, could it work as another chapter in the history of the fictional universe? I'm not necessarily saying I'd like to see the Thing meet Aliens or Predators, but it's something I've been wondering about.

We don't talk about The Thing. Not since The Incident:-X

Oh come on Xenomrph, it'll be fun:laugh:

As far as The Thing appearing in the same universe as Aliens/Predators, I personally find it very feasible. Among other things, various things introduced in Prometheus make the Thing fit in with the A/P universe more than it did beforehand.

I know, right?

But seriously, this one's not even a versus topic, it's just a "do you think they could co-exist?" topic. Which I think they can. :)

An alien DNA cannot be altered by the things cells and thus the alien eats the thing. Case closed. The thing is fail.

So that means that Xenomorphs could be descendants of the Thing?  :P
