The other day I was crossing the road to get something from the shops and saw a bluetongue crawling along. I stood by him and waited until he made it safely into a drain before moving on so nobody ran him over. Before I walked away he poked his head out of the drain and flicked his tongue out and it was like he was waving a "thank you".

My three legged puppy loves chasing them around the yard.

And by "chasing" I mean "runs in circles around it barking at it trying to get it to play with her".

I'll let that sink in: A three legged puppy, playing with a blue tongue lizard.
