If there aren't xenos in Prometheus, i want to see a space battle between predators and space jockeys.

yeah right... and why not throw in some klingons as well?! how about a deathstar to make it more interesting? and how about making fassbender a cylon! i'm sure there is a way to make all of it canon.

No. It's best to keep the two franchises separate, and in two different universes. Not in the same universe as AVP. Personally I see them as three separate franchises and universes, apparently Fox see's them as three different franchises as well.

Well I think it was just a reference to the Alien films and the AVP comics which came before it, kind of like how Firefly referenced Aliens with a Weyland-Yutani logo on one of the ships.
