That first episode is just insane. The way that first episode ends clearly tells you what the show is all about. Amazing.

Rust and Marty are two interesting motherf**kers. Rust is probably the perfect character to wander around and investigate a vaguely lovecraftian universe... a depressive hallucinating, nihilist drunk f**k that is also smart as hell. (Yes King In Yellow is not a lovecraft creation.. but Lovecraft sure loved dropping references to him in his works.)
