I find IRL "Manic Pixies" are often more trouble than they're worth. They're fun, but are disaster magnets too. Occasionally though, you do meet a woman who fits the archetype without causing trouble all the time, and I agree, they're the best.

Battlestar Galactica 'The Resistance' webseries and S3E05 'Collaborators'

The webseries was an interesting (if a bit choppy) look at the events leading up to the season, and made for a nice lead in to 'Collaborators', which was a very good episode. Things are getting quite bleak in the fleet.

Great episode, introducing a great villain. I have now braced myself for The Wrath of Khan.

I just finished watching Dexter - Season 1. It's been a few years since the last time I saw it. Talk about things being different back then. Everything from the lightning and mood, which I've previously mentioned, to characters like Debra, who has evolved so much since the beginning, it's hard to even think of her as the same person she is now. Back then she was so naive and low on self-esteem. And let's not forget about Doakes. I didn't even realize how much I missed Doakes. I also forgot that Dexter never spoke to Harry back then and it was all done in flashbacks instead.

It's been great revisiting the birth of Dexter.
