Back in high school I was on the Rugby team and apparently was good, later Badminton too but I'm not as proud of that because I sucked at it.
I was a member of the athletic council and in my spare time was "unreal" at Javelin Throw. I didn't join the team in time though because they left us very little time to train.
Yea, lack of training wasn't unheard of at my school. My last year there was no rugby team because they wouldn't let us on the fields as they were "still recovering from winter conditions", hence why I tried badminton.
Overall, at the athletic banquet on my last year I was awarded the "Special Effort" award for my hard work and support of others.
Another high school fact, I was a music department ambassador to public school kids.
