Firstly I apologise if this has been brought up before. I did look but couldn't see anything, but perhaps I didn't look hard enough.

Question is: What is that creature behing Adrian when he is being interviewed? When you put the interview on full screen size, it has ears I think.

Looks like stickman to me. If you look closely, it looks like he has the harness thing on that was mentioned in the script.
