Have you ever had to hold in gas so badly that you just need to fart, but wouldn't allow yourself to?  It's horrible.  It feels as if your intestines are about to rupture; in fact, it already feels like your intestine has ruptured, that's how bad the pain is.  So I'd imagine that if were to actually rupture, it would be a lot more painful.  Just imagine this happening to your chest and you'll get the idea of what being chestbursted almost feels like.
