The torment... the agonizing cascade of noise... it is endless... it gets in your head...

There is no God... God would never allow this...

Hmmm... Very interesting drawing here. :) I like shading you made, but even more I like mood of this picture. :)

BTW did you try to use your finger for softening the lines? This is a very useful technique. :D

I love the use of the shading technique there. You erased slightly with the rubber in places didn't you? Great stuff. The presentation is very well thought, the lights and the position of the character work very well. Might be your best right behind the dropship. :)

Really striking.
Have you taken an art class? Because if you have not, you are a natural.\
And if you have, you are still a natural.

For me, I felt the shading is what gave it the mood. Was going for a noir feel.

I did soften the lines, but not with my finger. I have this tool for line softening (not sure what it's called), but it's kinda like a pencil made of paper.

Yeah, an eraser is just as powerful as a pencil when it comes to shading.

Yeah, the lights turned out rather well, I thought. My favourite's the neon sign.

Yeah, took drawing lessons for a few years. That's where I learned most of my technique.

I hid a reference in there, actually. Person who spots it, you can have a cookie.

Good guess, but that was actually unintentional. Meant to be the 'R' in 'BAR'.

Don't think my work's ever been called 'sexy' before. Thanks! :D

Yea, I know this tool very well, I used it many times, but believe me - nothing is better than your own finger. Tool is only tool, without feeling. But finger is sensitive, you can feel much better what are you doing. It gives you better and more accurate sense of pressure.
Of course I don't want to persuade you, it's your drawing and your choice. :)

But this noire mood of your drawing is fantastic. :)
