Destructoid has a problem... Rogue Warrior wasn't made by the same team, they should do their research. I've seen them complaining in every article they post about AvP, mainly because Sega seems to ignore them a little bit. Besides all they saw was the alpha (a month before Eurogamer).

Indeed, same with the rest of the devs that have been doing interviews lately.

Btw, one small correction. IGN & Destructoid mentioned in their latest previews that there are 7 multiplayer levels on disc. I double checked it today and there are actually 8 maps, 2 of which are for survivor.

Ok, so we can't use these 2 Survivor maps for regular modes.
How about the additionnal maps from the DLC ? I think one of those was Survivor only too.
So, including the DLC maps, that would mean 9 regular maps and 3 Survivor maps, right ?

starting with only 6 maps for regular MP, and then trying to milk us for a few extra is a joke.
I dont think I've ever seen a game with so few maps at release.

So if I get the extra maps, I'll have 12 maps in total; 8 Standard and 4 Survivor? Seems like a pretty decent amount. Hopefully we get some free map packs down the road, but somehow I doubt it.

They wont even give us the extra 4 maps with release without extra money, and we all know they could have had them on the disk.

I think its safe to say they aren't going to hand us anything.

at kotaku they already said the 4 extra maps weren't ready to be finalized on the disk.   so they will be DLC.

I don't believe for one second that Rebellion couldn't fit them on the disk.
There just trying to make some extra money fast.

Kinda overkill when you consider others games start with 12-16, but this will only give the average user 6 MP maps to play on.
I find it a rather bad idea to give players so few maps to start out.
