Considering the opening of 2014 was a nod to 98, I wouldn't be surprised.

Intentional or not, Godzilla going in Jaws mode looks cool. Plus, I get larva Mothra vibes from the clips.



On a side note; Kong being friendly with a human is something similar to the original classic (of course not like "beauty and the beast" and more like "the kid who can pet the monster"). Maybe this is Kong vs V. Rex the movie
