How to insert an image?

Hmm... I was wondering, why can't I insert an image here... I go to imageshack.us, copy a hotlink/link for forums and when I paste it here, nothing happens...

Hmm, is it supposed to be like that :
When I post an image and then press the "preview" option below the white box in which you can write (lol), I see nothing. Is it supposed to be like that, or I should see my image when I click "preview"?

But make sure to put the URL in between them. In other sites, the url ends in numbers, just erase the numbers and make sure the url as jpeg in the end of it
