Is the S silent now?

Apparently.

I was gonna make a "D is silent" joke, but I didn't feel like editing the pic so its a 'D' on his chest :P

I just read Guardians of the Galaxy #0.1, which works as a lead up to the new GotG run and gives us a brief backstory for Peter Quill, a.k.a. Star-Lord. Pretty basic, but nice enough, and the artwork as good. Looking forward to what comes next. :)

Cool. If the main series is consistent, I'll definitely grab that TPB in a few months, whenever its released :)

I was looking around on Amazon and noticed that Secret Identity will be back in print on April 9.

I honestly can't recommend this enough. It's a very unique and interesting take on the Superman character. If you're a fan of good comics, you are going to want to check this out.

I read "Venom: Shiver", a 5 part miniseries that opens up the Venom solo comics.

It's definitely a thing. Literally, it's pretty much just The Thing with the Venom symbiote and Men In Black thrown in because, f**k it, they don't even know what they're doing anymore. I think this came out in, like, 2003 or 2004, and you can buy all 5 issues for, like $8 on the Marvel Digital Comic store. It's...alright. The art is kinda...weird. It's not exactly bad, but it isn't good either. I'd give it about a 5/10, maybe.

Also Eddie Brock isn't even mentioned, the suit is hostless here and jumps from body to body.
