I'm telling you that would have been a perfect plot for Indy 5: Indiana Jones goes searching for Atlantis, only to be sucked up into the Bermuda Triangle, where it's up to Mutt (ugh) to rescue Indy from becoming forever trapped in the curse of Atlantis. It would have been called "Indiana Jones and the Curse of Atlantis"

man I love that game, I've completed it dozens of times.

You can get it pretty cheap on steam (with voices! which was a novelty for me, the first ~10 times I completed it with no voices)
