Cubans bring back memories for me...



Me smoking a cuban, on the left end of the picture. This was in Kuwait, in the spring of 2004, 10 minutes later we crossed the Border into Iraq.



Here was my Platoon, I'm in the front row, on the left again. One black glove on my right hand (chipped a bone on my wrist, the glove, pain killers, and steroids helped). We were the Quick Reaction force for route Irish in Baghdad 2004-2005. Right before the Army switched over to the digital uniforms. Those were the days, sometimes feels like another lifetime, sometimes like yesterday.
