I don't know if you guys noticed it from my earlier post, but I won a Hot Toys AVP Alien Warrior for $52 plus $8 shipping on eBay! That is what you call a deal!

Guys do you think I should go for a McFarlane's 7inch Scar or Celtic? They are pretty expensive... are they worth it? I heard they can't stand too well on their own, how bad is it? I don't want to have it leaning against a wall...

I have a Scar, and he can't stand, you have to prop him up against something, Celtic can stand, but just a bit, but I think the Scar predator is the worst one.

I had to glue mine, so they could stand.

I just totally hate mine, though I love collecting the figures and stuff, the McFarlane AVP figure line is a cheap mess, good detail but bad plastics.

I personaly think that the Mcfarlane AVP toys were good. Not the best, but good. The best one was probably either the Elder Predator or the refreshed Predator 2 but my Celtic & Scar both stand up fine.(Probably differant for everyone) The weapons were cool but if your too rough with them they will break & please NO ONE, store them in the cold because the cold does something with the plastic (Especialy in the wrist) & makes the plastic break. I was able to repair it but it could of been worse. I can't wait for the new Predator series though because I can have him pose with his & Mcfarlane's Predator weapons.

Please excuse the crappy pix.
The lights/reflections make it really hard to get a clear picture.

I took some close-ups just incase you guys wanted a better view:
