That would be an interesting fight. I would vote for Spike on the other hand.

I think a decent Pred hunter could kill a warrior Alien without big inconvenience.

Close quarter; most likely not.

The Predator has a maximum of two lethal weapons at close range (dual wristblades). The Alien has six (four claws, tail, mouth).

It depends on the individual.
It is like saying a human could take down a bear. Some people can and some cannot. Same with predators and xenomorphs.
The very fact that predators hunt xenomorphs means a xenomorph is more then capable of killing them.

 Alien, They are weapon all themselves. Survive in any environment.

At the end of Alien after being shot out the air lock it was still alive until Ripley turned on the ships engine. AvP had Aliens in Antarctica.

They were deep in the ground of Antarctica. It would be very cold there. Plus the end fight was on the surface with the queen. The only time in AvP we see an Alien frozen is when the Queen is trapped.

Not so cold that a near naked Pred had any problems.
