I'd be perfectly happy if they basically displayed both Species equally powerful in one way or another, just as long as we don't get the massacre we had in AvP:R, with the Aliens fighting like girls and the Predator behaving 'awesomely' retarded.

Please don't use that as your source of comparison. It's the mindset the Strauss had when they made AvP:R. Anderson was more correct with the Alien has the melee, Predator has the Ranged Weaponry.
