I'll be honest, I went to see deadpool 2 yesterday and they played the predator trailer. It felt like a lighthearted popcorn movie. All of the trailers they played were terrible except for Mission Impossible which I felt they edited very well. The mission impossible trailer focused on the aspects of what we all know to be the heart of the movie, which is incredible action scenes. The predator trailer was childish and too light hearted for what a predator movie should be. I've read the early script and seen the trailer when it dropped, and seeing it on the big screen gave me a lackluster feeling. I'll still go see the film in theaters for support of the franchise but I have little faith in what this film will provide to the franchise.
