I love the paranormal/mind f**k kind of games, but this one has been somewhat of a slog. It isn't bad, but the game mechanics are sometimes a slog.
Having to use two different techniques to alter the environment for one character, and then another to do the same for the other character gets old.
It has a nice presentation, it's actually made me jump at some of the pop up scares (which doesn't happen often) even if it is because of just the loud af noise more so than actually responding to creepiness.

Yeah I heard about pretendo, but so far they don't even have MH4U mentioned as one of the games they're working on. So even if they decide to work on it, it's gonna be a while. At least I have MHWorld/Rise to keep me going.
