Squatty legs

I didn't like this about Chet, they showed this in the special edition dvd because chet was 8+ feet tall and the guy playing him was only 6' 1..So it showed in the production, how small and squatty his legs were and it looked ridiculous..I actually liked the Predalien in AvPR, but not as much now..Any of you guys hear or know about this?

We all know about this, they had to put him on a stand or something so that he would be taller.

The regular aliens are supposed to be 8 feet tall, not just Chet.

Wait, you're saying you dislike the in-movie creature now because of how it looks in some production stills? Have you seen the copious amounts of awful looking production shots from every movie leading up to this one? It shouldn't matter if the thing was wearing a pink tutu in reality if you never actually see it on screen.

Yeah we never once see the Predalien in full view. The featurette on the DVD even says that it was only made to be seen from waist up when the guy was in the suit.
