I still need to get a VCM OTR intake for my Commodore SS.

Just a cold air intake yeah? will defo give it a nice throaty sound couple it with a nice exhaust sound pretty tough. , how much they charging you shipping for it?

Intake is just the beginning. Headers, hi flow cats, and exhaust are on the list too. The intake is the one thing that is made in Oz. Everything else I can get locally.

Still waiting to hear back regarding shipping. Kinda scared to find out lol.

Yeah if you go slow boat probably wont be that bad, around 40 - 50 you try to ship air its gonna cost you big bucks like a couple hundred, if you get stuck i might be able to help you out on shipping via air (ship as gift no duty costs, my work has a dhl acc get a pretty good deal on shit)  yeah get the computer chipped on the dyno afterwards get the most out of it.

Like they say, you gotta pay to play lol. But if it is ridiculous to ship I will keep you in mind. Thanks.  :)

Once all the parts are on, it will definitely be getting a tune. Not only will that maximize any gains, but I can get a tune that will turn off the AFM. That way I run 8cylinders all the time.  8)

I've been reading on guys shipping containers between LA and Melbourne, mainly because im thinking of importing a 70's bronco or an international scout across only takes a couple of months a full car is only 3k to ship so i'd assume parts would be pretty cheap, this guy guy has a holden LH torana hatchback he drives over in the us, performance parts are cheap as f**k stateside. specially for the gen3.

That's why being in Canada sucks.  :P

Whether it's coming from Australia or America, I still get shafted on shipping.

Yeah, prices can be astronomical which is why I'm picky about buying stuff from eBay these days. The Global Shipping Program which adds extra import charges doesn't help either.

Just how large was this snake? The snake shops website administrator should be shot too.

Oh and did anyone watch sharkweeks opener? I totally forgot about it and I was rather pleased while flipping channels to see that it was shark week. Something to watch even though in my opinion it's more entertainment than educational now. Which is pretty much what most nature channel programming is now days. However it was a f**king bullshitmentry. I mean seriously wtf is this crap? I didn't give it much thought till I watched this video...

Is that mike sorensen guy as f**king stupid as he appears? No, making money and we did it for the ratings is not an excuse. I can already hear the bs excuse of them all coming. Producing quality programming is expensive and we need low budget fictional cash cow content such as Megalodon to help generate revenue to fiance them... This is shameful.

Discovery is awful, I don't think I've ever managed to finish watching any of their docs. Animal Planet, too.

I knew discovery channel has some huge let downs recently but I didn't think it had gone the way of animal planet, TLC... etc. :(

NGC and the BBC are ok but boring.

I didn't see the episode in question but I did see the follow up comic depicting a Megalodon hunting an icthyosaur. Sure, it's no problem that both creatures are separated by about 50 million years of evolution but hey, as long as it looks cool right?

The world's first test-tube burger, costing a whopping £250,000 to produce, has been unveiled in London.

http://news.sky.com/story/1124439/test-tube-burger-served-up-for-first-time

The 5oz patty - made from lab-grown "cultured beef" - was dished up by its creator, Professor Mark Post, before journalists in Hammersmith, in the west of the capital.

Think about how much of the world's agricultural land would be left to go back to nature if we could grow all of our meat in labs. Tons of species and ecosystems could be saved from extinction.
If they can get this to work, and provide all the nutritional value and taste of slaughtered meat, it's an environmentalist's dream. Hell, it's my wet dream; I think I was ranting on the subject in this very thread a few weeks ago.
