"Excellent work! I guess you guys either know an incredibly good theatrical armourer, or someone went back to school and raided the CCF small arms locker for the SA80s (or are they L98A1s? Memory's playing tricks - my own CCF days are long behind me!).

Besieged is an amazing short - the small core cast and intimate/claustrophobic feeling, coupled ... See Morewith some fantastic location shooting, have a great impact. The overall feeling is very tense, amplified by the low light, industrial feel, and good use of incidental music. The pacing is incredible, the sparse use of CGI very effective... and that cliffhanger ending! I can't praise Besieged highly enough. Which, for a crossover fanfilm, is unusual, because it's rare to see such great standards.

All that's left to wonder is - what could you do with the budget and resources for a full-length episode? ;-) Looking forward to what the post-credits trailer's promising, especially if it means more Ryder kicking ass!"

"Obviously as its based on both Doctor Who and Alien, Im going to have to say its a bit derivative, but whats this? decent acting in a Doctor Who fan film? never thought Id see the day. You make excellent use of your location, the direction and editing is very good and it actually feels like proper Doctor Who. The Doctor and Lydia are excellent and look loke their charachters could develop nicely and Ryder looks like she could kick the crap out of me. Much love and respect due to you all. I hope you get a chance to continue the story

Sorry for the lateness on watching it. I'm not a fan of DW (I hate the show) so I put it off. I finally watched it a few days ago and I rather enjoyed it. Loved seeing the SA80 - you know what makes me smile? The SA80s are in Aliens and featured on a magazine cover in the AvP2 game.

Was rather impressed with some of the acting - when the two females are shouting at each other.

One thing I do think needs to be worked on is your lighting. I understand the need to keep the suits in the dark but it was far too dark for me.

The glasses were a nice kitschy touch on Lydia.  She looked like she could be a real companion.  Great use of sets, too.
