Numerous sets have been built though, and even if they started filming now they wouldn't make the July release date for a 2007 release.

Oh, and not to burst a bubble or anything, but The Dark Knight is scheduled for 2008, not 2007, and Harvey Dent WILL be in the Dark Knight, Nolan said nothing about 2 Face.

Ledger- I think he can pull it off.
Bale- Best Batman Ever.  Barely edges out Keaton and West

2 face / Dent??-  Some say Guy Pearce, personally, I'd like to see Hugo Weaving (Agent Smith, V from V for Vendetta)

I loved the trailer for 23.  It looks great.

I love Jim Carrey in all of his comedies, but it's his darker roles that are more intriguing.

For example, see The Cable Guy, yes, it was a comedy, but he was the badguy, and he made him convincingly evil meanwhile telling jokes.  He works as the victim/antagonist.
