Hellraiser: Bloodline

I like this one a bit more than Hellraiser 3, since it's not nearly as dumbed down and mainstream'd as that movie. Not that it's particularly good, though, mainly because of heavily apparent studio interference.

Yes, you do. Definitely one of my favorites of the year so far.

On just a structural level, I love how much it actually felt like a play with the long takes "transitioning" from one moment/place to another without complete regard for time and space.

Hellraiser: Inferno

This might, might, have been a half way decent movie if it had a significant retooling and wasn't chock full of crowbarred in Hellraiser moments. As it stands, it's incredibly boring with a highly unlikeable protagonist, so you just don't give a shit the whole way through. Craig Sheffer deserved better than this and the seasons of One Tree Hill he ended up doing.

Nope, unfortunately. Apart form Spy Kids and Predators, I'm not really familiar with Rodriguez's stuff.

Will have to give it a watch, though. The style looks all kinds of interesting.
