L.A. Confidential

Comfortably one of the best movies I've ever seen. Positively oozes style and class from every frame.

As a side note, scrolling through the Blu-ray special features I discovered they made a pilot in the 90s for a TV series that was never picked up, starring a pre-24 Keifer Sutherland. I can see why it never made it to a series

Talk to me - Wow. That was way better than I thought it would be and even better that it was made by two local Adelaide lads too. Recognised a few names and acquaintances in the credits too! Great horror film even if some of those kids early one were damn annoying little sh*ts.

I'm not entirely unconvinced that Delroy Lindo just did whatever the hell he wanted in that scene regardless of the script.

Over here it hasn't gotten a release since DVD, which is so old the digital copy comes on a physical second disc instead of a download code.

Went to the theater totally in the dark for this one and was blindsided by one of the very best films I've seen all year. Phenomenal movie all around.
