Morbius

It's a movie that exists. Hasn't got much plot. Hasn't got much of anything, really.

IT'S MORBIN TIME!

The Banshees of Inisherin

This was great. Hilarious and bleak as f**k all at the same time.

Top Gun

Gave this a rewatch in preparation for finally seeing the new one.

Call me a philistine, but I much prefer Days of Thunder.

I avoided the Terrifier films for a long time under the impression that they were just generic killer clown movies (you know the kind I'm talking about lol).

But my gf and I watched the first and then saw the 2nd in theatres, and I ended up really loving them!

Just really fun and dark slashers, with a lot of brutality and mean-spiritedness in the style of old grindhouse slasher/splatter films. One scene in particular in Terrifier 2 had my jaw dropped by the sheer brutality and cruelness of it. And I consider myself pretty desensitized by gore/violence in horror films.

I know they wont be everyone's cup of tea, but I think they might become favorites of mine.

Art the Clown is really fun to watch, and I love his design and personality. I have a feeling he's going to join the ranks of the big iconic slashers in years to come. A modern horror icon in the making.

The Cursed

Interesting take on werewolf lore. It felt close to being great but didn't quite land.

Some great gore and kills with a nice mixing up of the standard werewolf tale. Something was missing for me though and some of the cgi is pretty terrible.

The Italian Job (2003)

I feel like Wahlberg did this because he ditched Ocean's Eleven in favor of the Planet of the Apes remake.  Still a damn good heist movie, though, aside from that awful cover of Money they used.  ::)
