Fair enough, but I was hoping against hope....nay, yearning....for a return to something more akin to the classic 'Giger-esque', bio-mechanical look  -

It's amazing that after 45 years we still haven't had a Xeno that looks as good as Ol Big Chap did back in 1979.  The photo above reminds me of Resurrection & Covenant aesthetics.

I'll caveat by saying one still shot doesn't maketh a movie.

I think I kinda prefer this tbh. This ain't Jurassic World - we don't need to wheel out the geriatric franchise icon every movie to get a few claps. I still think Fede will do him justice tho, he has a such a love for the first movie clearly.

The tendons on the side of the mouth almost look transparent. I wonder if they are going for the original ideal of the Alien being transparent?

Looks pretty good. I've got to agree with others though, it would be nice to see a return to a more bio-mechanical look. Is there some legal reason why they aren't? Still, I feel like we've seen worse, such as AVP, AVP-R and Resurrection, especially Resurrection being the absolute worst.

The "pointy" bits are not its teeth. They're its gums. The teeth look pretty much like they always did.
