Imagine if the main character uses the save station, gets killed later in the movie, then reappears back at the save station again and is like, "shit, I have to do all this again?!"

While I don't known how much this connects to the prequels, I just hope its very minimal and to the point it can be ignored.

I don't think future alien media should reference the prequels. Give Ridley a chance to make his finale and then close the door on it and then have it classed as a wild "what if" scenario for alien origins.

Remember how back in 2010/11, when The Riddler stated publicly that Prometheus would have "Alien DNA" in it? That's what they're gonna do with this movie, but in reverse. It'll have Prometheus DNA.
