Runaway Train

Finally got around to watching my Arrow Blu-ray. It's a bit ropey in one or two places but it's still a great film and the ending's amazing. Hard to pigeonhole though. Despite the title it's not really about the train at all.

"Here's a seven pointed suppository."

This one is pretty good. It doesn't get much better than that rocket launcher scene.
Might actually be my favourite of the five. Definitely the funniest, from memory; Eastwood's on top form with the put-downs.

The Alien3 theatrical cut on Disney.

I still prefer the bloated misery of the Assembly Cut.

The Marvels

I'd heard a lot of mixed things but it was actually pretty much what I'd expected. I enjoyed it.

The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires

God bless the absolute madman who decided to mix Dracula and kung fu.

The final ten minutes or so of that are just an absolute powerhouse.

Old dude screaming in silence when he sees his son go over the cliff cuts me up every time.

I watched it today and honestly, the end of the movie I shed some tears.  That whole ending sequence just gives me goosebumps.  Such an amazing movie.

The score during that ending is just incredible - heart-pounding, emotional, and absolutely goosebumps-inducing.
