Ringu: Rasen (Spiral)(1998)

Ringu: Rasen aka Spiral was filmed and released at the same time as Ringu 1.  Rasen was the original sequel to Ringu and is known as the forgotten sequel.  The original director and writers decided to come back and film Ringu 2 to replace Spiral.  After watching Spiral I can see why.

Spiral was a better book than a movie. Joji Iida just wasn't the right director or writer for that project.
