Yep it sucks when you've got a hundred or so pages and you find out how to continue it or can't be assed finishing it.

I find that sitting at a blank page helps. Eventually you get so bored you write something.
Even if it is crap, it does give you an idea what won't work, and pushes you in the right direction.

When I play a video game depending on the game/genre I like to lower the brightness as much as possible to increase immersion.

Unless it becomes a hassle to see. Then I just lower it a bit or not at all.

I can agree with you on butter, it's terrible on bread. I only use it to cook with, and then only rarely. Do you like margarine?

As for dressings though, I'd probably die if I couldn't get my salad dressings. Olive oil, lime juice, crushed garlic and balsamic vinegar ftw.
