You know, for some reason you come across as if you would be a big Loki fan, PQ. Not exactly sure why, though. :)

As a Wiccan and or Pagan I do worship the gods of old and have chosen the Norse pantheon to watch over me.  I do pay homage to Loki because I do find myself very much a trickster.  It's strange though, I feel that the comics on Thor and Loki are a bit of an insult the gods themselves but its strangely entertaining.  They portray Loki as a bad guy in the comics which in mythology he was not a bad guy but they did the same thing to Hades in Hercules the Disney movie, honestly that annoys me.

I'm a fan of Joan of Arc.

If you don't know Joan of Arc but know Snookie I honestly have to chase you around with a base-ball bat or hockey stick. Joan of Arc was raised a farm girl. She stood against the tide of being treated like an object (wore mens clothing/armour), fought in the late part of the Hundred Years War against the English on French soil, and was captured and burned to death on the steak at the age of 19 as she had an unfair religious trial that was corrupted by English politics. 25 years later the Pope authorized the examination of the trail in which she was then pronounced innocent and declared a martyr. After her death she became a huge symbol of France. Joan of Arc or "The Maid of Orleans" is remembered as a brave warrior, Roman Catholic saint, and a national heroine of France. Joan is a REAL woman.

I love Joan of Arc as well.  I love strong women in history, they make me feel proud to be woman.

I can't stand seeing little kids get killed in horror movies for the sake of shock value.  Its one thing to have a child die like in a movie about WW2.  But have kids needlessly die in movies is just in poor taste in my mind.

I love strong women of history too. It reminds that I don't have to settle for sluts or Snookies, that there are strong women out there with honour, courage and values.

I liked this episode of Deadliest Warrior.  ;D

You love Joan of Arc, see this film.

It remains one of the greatest films ever made, and the actress playing Joan delivers a stirring performance.
