As with the PS4, the X1 will need a day one patch. But, unlike the PS4, the X1 is literally a paperweight if you don't get the patch, as you can't even play disc based games without it, on the PS4 you can.

Good gad look at those game sizes. The largest game I downloaded was almost 8 gigs, for ACII.

Overall, seems the guy really likes it. Said the kinect navigation was "INSANE", the console was quiet, the power brick is barely warm after 3 hours, the connection cords are long(I guess), you can start to play games at 50% of download. Only bad thing he had to say about it was that the game DVR was a bit lacking.
