There's no point in DRM. Its just screwing the end user. If someone wants to pirate the game he WILL do it and no DRM can stop that. Many devs just stopped giving a damn and abandoned the DRM because there's no point in investing hundreds of dollars for something that goes down in a few hours-days after the release. CD Projekt are one of those devs for example. And they even said it in some interview - they are no longer going to bother with DRM on their games because there's no point. Do you remember what happened with Rockstar who invested 200$ in "unbreakable" protection? Razor1911 dealt with this protection in 4 days after the release. And for the consoles the things are even more frightening. Example: Gears of War 2 was released 3 weeks before the release.

So there's no point spending money on DRM. MS better leave it as it is. No matter if the DRM is just for the games or for the console too - they will fall sooner or later.

The only two reasons I would want to have the original X1 back is so that the cloud is unlimited -- I was reading on Titanfall, and they said the cloud would help them have 30 NPC's running around the map in addition to the 6v6(or whatever it may be). I don't know if the reversal of this policy will affect that or not. 2.) The sharing feature was ridiculously good. It would save people so much money.

I was watching IGN Daily Fix last night, and they said that the family sharing feature may return if people want it....OF COURSE WE WANT IT, ASSHOLE! Lel. I really do hope they bring it back, though.

I gots a question for people who are actually BUYING the X1 - What's the first game you're gonna play on it? I'm thinking mine will be Ryse: Son of Rome.
