^ I got to see Alan Jackson in 1995, my first concert (that I wanted to go to). I ended up falling asleep, but I was 10, so I guess that I was hyped up to the point of exhaustion. I always thought that country music was at its peak in the mid to late 90s, all of it during those years was really good. Alan Jackson always has and always will be my favorite country musician.

I think every US city has at least one country music radio channel. When I lived right across the river from NYC, I listened to Gone Country on the radio. That song actually reminds me of that city.

I love Paula Cole. Its a shame people only remember her for this or the Dawson's Creek theme, even though she did some great work on Peter Gabriel's Secret World tour

^ Yet again, seems like our musical views are mirroring each other. She certainly did some great work on PG's SW tour in 92. Just think, what she did in the early/mid 90s some would love to trade a lifetime career for!
