You're meant to spam the first four then slow it down for the fifth mate. That's how broken the gun is. It randomly spreads with the bloom but is too slow to control so either way you're f**ked.

With the BR I knew right off the bat whether I'd won or not.

Someone betrayed me purposely so I had him booted. Then the messageing begins....

"YOU PUSSY ASS BITCH!"

I was like wow, then I decied to rebel by replying "You can kiss my ass. Bitch on a stick." in German.

He replies "swine". Then I replied "You don't even know what I said do you? Forget I said anything idiot."

Then he says "well idk cause I'm not a nerd lik u". Then I reply "Yes. Nerds really like sports, cars and women don't they? Stop wasting your breath and my time. Bye."

Then he doesn't reply till like 3.5 hours later and he comes up with this. "you can't play sports and all you look at is porn because you can never get a girl.".

Then I sent this message then blocked communications 2 minutes after. "You don't even know me moron. It took you that long to come up with such an idiotic response? You aren't worth my time."

Then there was something else I couldn't believe. Whie in the lobby there is kid who sounds 12 and he's just making these annoying sounds and he's having a ball. Then all the suden someone speaks up and says "Shut up you have no friends and no one likes you". He broke out into tears on the spot with the snap of a finger. I have never heard sadness react so fast.

There are some... some sort of people on Reach...

And whilst they're at it give us a gun that works. Seriously I'd take the BR spread issues over whatever the hell the DMR is any day. I literally never know if I'm gonna win a fight in Reach, shooting that weapon at somebody is like playing the lottery.

*salute* I used the DMR on non-shielded enemies. One shot, one kill (or a couple for Brutes). I used my KA-BAR 1271 on the Elites.

Yes, the possibilities for the Halo universe endless and I would love to explore them...in books.  When I'm playing my games, not so much.  While playing as the Rookie, Noble 6, heck, even the Arbiter, all I wanted to do was be the Chief. Guilty pleasure.

No offense dude but if that's your take on the DMR, your aim probably sucks. I've learned to use it in burst shots. Works everytime.

You're telling me because the supposed best Halo player in the world lost with a DMR, that makes it a lousy weapon? Sure.

Oh god didn't you watch the video?

It takes 5 shots to kill an opponent with a DMR.

The guy wasn't moving for half the fight.

His first four shots take the opponent to no shield as they all hit, he then fires six more but because the weapon has random spread, none of them hit, meaning he loses the fight.

What this video shows about the DMR is that it's incredibly unreliable. It's a luck based weapon. Introducing luck diminishes skill. What's worse is they've proven it's more viable to spam the weapon than to wait for your bloom to reset, so really the fundamentals are all f**ked.
