I don't think that was ever their intent with the title. It's an evolution of the way they did Predators and it worked perfectly for what they were aiming for, I think.

It'd still be nice to see another new fully-fledged AvP that surpasses Classic and 2 though.

I had a lot of fun with it too, they did a lot of things right, unfortunately it needed a bigger budget, more dev time, and better story to really surpass the first two games.

Im actually enjoying it quite a bit surprisingly. Pretty good for tablet/phone game.

Fire and Stone, Life and Death maybe the status quo but in my eyes... they will never, ever, top the original and true AVP. The original series was the very soul of what we knew, and loved that was AVP. Flaws aside from the past stuff... this IS AvP.

I don't think I even saw Predator until after I played the first AvP.
