I disagree. What things about the movie in particular made no sense?

I thought the Mist was great. I don't understand why people hate the ending. Are all ending supose to happy? I thought it was great.

guy kills his family only to find out they were safe 5 minutes later.. I mean its horror.

^ Im with you on that one. They made the ending different than the one in the book to make it darker.

I loved the tentacles. Absoulutely loved them. I mean its up there with the aliens for fav creature. I also enjoyed the characters, specifically the crazy religious lady. I seriously wanted her to die, and was happy when she did. Very well-written and acted.

It wasn't a sad ending though,The Military come and save the day. It would've been better without that part of the ending.

It's like they got scared and didn't want to make the ending too depressing.

What do you mean? I think its even more frustrating when he could have been perfectly fine after the disaster. I just found out they could of made it and probably lived a normal life but he just killed his family. I think its perfect the way it is.

^Yeah it's meant to be ironic twist because that religious lady said they would be killed and she was right in the end even though she was a crazy bitch (love the scene where she gets shot).

Same here, hell yeah. When I saw it everyone started cheering when she died.

I know Undeadite this a while ago in the actual "The Mist" thread, but the film does seem to have a very big Lovecraft influence.
