MY EYES!!!!!1

The Human Centipede - 3/10

Awful film, yet I did enjoy it, mostly because of Dr. Heiter. He's just badass with them shades.

Watch 1933's The Most Dangerous Game. Free on Youtube, and Predator is a remake of it.

The Third Man is great, too.

I don't remember the story having any Intergalactic Trophy Hunters!

"This is Larrys spirit guide, Maud"

One of my favourite movies of last year
That, jeff bridges in a hot tub, and Stephen Lang being the legend he is running into a wall.

Perhaps not, and on that level it suffers. But watching it, there are scenes that are remarkably similar to Predator, to the point where you wonder if they were intentional homages or not.

People say the same thing about Predator copying the Beowulf poem.

Never saw any similarities between Predator and Beowulf as far as plot synopsis goes. Alien, maybe. Part one, Beowulf kills the monster, part two, Beowulf kills the monster's mother, part three, Beowulf fights a 'dragon' and dies in a crappy ending. Certain elements of human storytelling are always recurring - same stories, same fears, same imaginings.

Talking about the Poem, haven't read it myself, but apparently I've heard people comparing Predator to it.
