If that's the sound of panting I guess it's ok lol. How many pages did it last though?, I need to give that TPB a 2nd read some day.

Sounds like the first carrier in Covenant.
It goes on for pages sometimes. Like I said, over 100 times in the first two issues.

Nostromo

Hahahaha. They were dragging a carrier along with them?

I read both this and Dust to Dust last night, and I gotta say -- I loved this dude's artwork, especially his work on Godzilla, very cool stuff. In fact it's probably the closest we'll ever get to an Aliens manga, because his art echoes that of Katsuhiro Otomo and Masamune Shirow.

Speaking of which I loved how he revealed his pitch to Dark Horse with the Colonial Marines navigating that labyrinth complex during a Xenomorph outbreak. That had the potential to be an even crazier piece of work.

Also this thread needs more "HGK HGK HGK".

What happened to that labyrinth? Where can one see that?

In the bonus content to the paperback. He includes some pages of finished art and talks about the process of said pieces. The facility that this all took place in was supposed to be large and extremely elaborate hence the term 'labyrinth', made worse by an earthquake that presumably released their Xeno captives.

I can believe it.

I'd love Stokoe to come back and do another comic based on his original pitch.

I lap his work up. Has any read Wonton Soup. It has some great little Alien/s references in it.

It follow two space truckers that have chef related adventures. It nuts.

Bringing it back because you should all watch it:

Nostromo

Nightmare Asylum

Just ordered the deluxe hardcover version of this, since it was easily my favorite of the Dark Horse comics in recent years. Wanted to make sure I got it before it goes out of print in light of the recent Marvel news.

The likely hood is that Marvel will reprint all the Dark Horse stuff.

But you made the right choice because Marvel's collected editions quality is no where near Dark Horse's level. And at an excellent price point.

Yeah, I'm sure it'll get a reprint at some point under the Marvel label. But the DH hardcover for this one, with all the backup bonus material, just looks so nice. And it is definitely my favorite of the Aliens stories post-Dark Horse's most recent continuity reboot, so I want this one for my shelf for sure.
