He wrote all that then attributed it to Remar?

Hence my use of 'apparently'.  So where did it come from then?
I don't know, "TheDeed" supplied it. Problem is, Remar doesn't have a biography of any sort.

The "I'm the King of the _______" mention gives it away completely. Come on.

To what end?  ???

To be honest the bit Sharp Sticks mentioned sounded a little bogus - but then the rest sounded like it could've been legit (Hicks was pretty thin) and people often misremember things.

You don't remember TheDeed?

Dude didn't like Cameron -- or at least, Cameron fanboys.

It was a joke, nothing more.

No, don't remember the TheDeed.  Name rings a bell but nothing more.

What a bizarrely elaborate joke...

What's elaborate about it? ???

It's maybe half a page of text.

Yeah but even that.  To go the trouble of writing it in the first person and all that.

Either way, mostly had me stooged so points for that.

I've seen way more elaborate first-person joke-posts on the SomethingAwful forums, there was an incredibly long one about a guy who allegedly worked at an amusement part and how he quit his job in the most spectacular way possible.

As you read through it, you realize "the guy" is Nedry from 'Jurassic Park', but it's so cleverly written that you don't realize it until the last sentence or two.

It was hilarious.

James Remar is briefly in the Alien Anthology Blu Ray. See disc 5, under Aliens, view the Pinewood Studios 1985 feature, and about 55 seconds in. Live action footage.

so each actor customize his armour and Remar decided to put a flower on the helmet? Now I understand why Cameron kick hiss ass of the set

It's just a subtle hint that Hicks was a pansy.
