I can think of worse things to do with your time over the next years time... but very few better things for a Peaks virgin

I have actually been planning to watch this for a while. Now seems like a good time to start.

I sure am. I have no idea about the story either, except that a woman is murdered and that Kyle MacLachlan plays a cop.

He must be done filming Season 2 by now (or very soon if he isn't). I think they will wrap up his story arc this season, so there should be no conflict.

This is great! I got into and finished the show earlier this year. Real great show with a great sense of style.

I hope they manage to bring that same style into the 2010s. I hope they get the original cast aswell as new ones. Be great to see all stories tied up.
