Mortal Kombat Legends: Cage Match

80s animated Johnny Cage. Hotel McHale is once again awesome and hilarious. This rocks. Everyone should watch it

Managed to get hold of a scan of an original 1987 35mm cinema print of Predator on a Blu-ray disc.  I love watching these 35mm scans.  Can't wait to get hold of the Alien one.  Awesome  8)

Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Great reboot, minus some weak parts like the entire lab somehow missing that one of their chimps was pregnant.

It hasn't been remastered for home theatres. It's the original theatrical presentation.

When Evil Lurks

Awesome horror movie, it's like the son between Evil Dead (even the poster it's very Evil Dead 2013-like) and The Exorcist but set in Argentina. I loved the tone of the film and it's one of the more pessimist movies I ever see. It's an horror film that relies more on impactful scenes than scares you, and this thr movie achieved it very well. I recommend this film to everyone who enjoys this kind of film, but it isn't a movie for everyone. I give it 8,5/10

Drive-Away Dolls (2024)

Thought this was quite a bit of fun, very sweet and charming.

I've seen people compare Margaret Qualley's performance to Nicolas Cage in this, and I'd be inclined to agree (Raising Arizona Cage, specifically, is what I got from what she was doing here).

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

I must have been on crack to find this mid on my first viewing. The only real problem here is the cliche asshole with no depth, who exists purely to push the plot forward.

So all grainy and crackly and stuff?

@SM grainy, yes. Crackly, depends on the quality of the print.

And with the original colours

The Favourite (2018). So far, the most normal film by Yorgos Lanthimos :)
